Serves: 5 pax
- 1 katori yellow moong daal
- 1/2 katori rice (for healthy chilada do not add rice)
For garnish on batter
- Cilantro/ Kothmir
- Green Chillies
- Red chilli powder
- Salt and Fling
For garnish over the chilada
- Choice of Paneer/Capsicum or Onions
- Soak moong daal and rice together after washing thoroughly for not more than 2 hrs
- Drain the water out completely.
- Grind it using a mixie to make a smoothe paste adding few drops of water from time to time.
- Once the batter is ready add kothmir, green chilies, ginger, red chilli powder, salt and hing and mix thoroughly.
- The batter is now ready for use.
- The chilada can also be garnished with paneer, capsicum or onions.
- Serve hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
